Events

We have an interesting and varied events schedule each year, which we hope members and members of the public alike will enjoy.

We hold an Annual General Meeting in the spring, an Open Meeting in the autumn, talks (usually given by a guest speaker), and a social event such as a town walk every year.

Members get free entry to all our talks.

12th to 21st September 2025 Heritage Open Days

This year for the first time, The Ringwood Society have co-ordinated a varied range of new events to expand the Heritage Open Days calendar in Ringwood.

7th October 2025 10.30am Trip to New Alresford hosted by The Alresford Society

As part of our series of visits hosted by other civic/amenity societies, we have arranged a member’s visit to New Alresford. This visit will be led by Deputy Chairman of The Alresford Society; Russell Gordon-Smith.
